I’m a home cook who enjoys experimenting with all sorts of food, ingredients and cuisines. I’ve travelled and lived around the world since childhood, and that has helped me develop a taste for the varied and the exotic. I love trying new cuisines and new tastes.

My current passion is bread. I just love the whole idea of making this most basic of foods at home. The sheer variety of breads one can make is staggering. And there is nothing to beat the smell of fresh bread baking in the oven.

    I loved the bread that you posted in Chef at Large. I am also a passionate bread baker (self taught). I felt an instant connect with your blog. Firstly because of your love for baking breads and secondly the name of your blog Saffronambrosia….I too have a blog and it is Ambrosia.
